Scalloped Potatoes

 

 

Looking down at the old recipe box with the lid open I can see this is probably one of the last recipes on an actual recipe card. The back end of the box looks like it was reserved for recipes from magazines, newspapers and other ephemera. Who knows what got stuffed away back there; it will be interesting to explore this last section of the box over the next few months. As for the recipe at hand, as I mentioned in the previous post, my family enjoys turning this into the main dish by adding some onions and meat to it, such as ham or sausage. MmmmMmmm!
